G. Patoulis: “We look forward to a fruitful cooperation with the new Ambassador of the United States of America on the basis of the well established Greek-American friendship.”
The Regional Governor of Attica, Mr G. Patoulis attended the cocktail reception hosted by the new U.S Ambassador to Greece, Mr George J. Tsunis, at the Ambassador’s Residence following presentation of Credentials to H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
Mr Patoulis congratulated Ambassador Tsunis on his assumption of office and wished him every success in his term.
Thereupon, Mr George Patoulis made a statement and stressed, inter alia, the following:
“We look forward to a constructive and fruitful cooperation with the new Ambassador, Mr George J. Tsunis, who maintains special ties with our country because of his Greek origin.
The Region of Attica aims at raising the level of its outreach and at strengthening its relations with the Greek Diaspora both in the USA and around the world. Greek-American friendship is very well established and I am sure now that Mr Tsunis has come to our country these friendship ties will become even stronger.”
